Tess has been RemiXing Beethoven [MIDI scores] since she started playing
with music on her desktop. She 'cut and pasted' her teeth with Ludwig gratefully
enabled by the dedicated persons who have faithfully transcribed Beethoven to MIDI.

Birds, bees and marimba [cello] capture the innocent [not for long]
spirit of the opening movement of this early [teens] Trio for Strings by Beethoven, a.k.a. "Baby Beethoven." Style is lite.
.
Scarcely 15 years after 'Baby', Beethoven is producing the famous
Opus 57 String quartets. The man is already a basket case. Hear his crankiness
unfold in the opening Allegro sampled by a piano. Style lite.
But the music is unmistakably great. Here's the same opening
segment of the Allegro resampled using notes of the General Midi Standard Drum and Whistles
set. A.k.a "BeethovensYoMama" due to its popularity as a Ringtone for mobile phones.
The long, famous opening movement of String Quartet Op59#1 ReMiXed
moves apace. A piano plays the 'cello voice, accompanied by the consolidation of all three
upper voices into a percussion ensemble.
The entire 2nd movement Allegretto was an anthem to many during the months
after 9-11. It was one of the War Horses Heder Mashed Up with contemporary wry sound clips
for her CD Holidays 2001 to test a great classic's ability to overpower all sorts of static.
Unlike some of the other Jokes, this one lets Beethoven's light shine.
A very carefully and joyfully stripped down arrangement of Beethoven's lush 32 Variations
on an Original Theme in a minor composed in Vienna winter of 1806.
Orchestrated [resampled] and set to a break neck fast pace [Ludwig loved metronomes], this is a lite and speedy instrumental
REMIX of the 32 Piano Variations.
Tess Heder set 'Winter-Spring 2003 in 3 Scenes, a Still Pictures Documentary.'
to two Piano Duet Mashups created at roughly the same time
as she was shooting the pictures. 'PianoJam' [for Scenes 1 and 2]
followed by 'Tangos'[Scene 3].
First published in 2003 on a CD, then in December 2004 on her DVD 'Singularities.'
Duel of the Pianists. A Mashup.
